What are we looking for?
We are looking for inspirational teachers and the school leaders of the future. We want the most ambitious trainees who will embrace all the opportunities we offer and begin their route to become an outstanding teacher.
Criteria for acceptance on the programme:
· GCSE in English, mathematics and science at a minimum of Level 4/ C or equivalent. (Please ask for advice if you have an equivalent qualification)
· A levels for Apprentice and Non-Salaried (PGCE) applicants are not essential but would strengthen an application.
· Degree at 1st, 2.1 or a 2.2 dependent on experience. Please ensure that your degree is a full honours at a 2.2 or above
We recommend that you gain experience in a classroom prior to interview.
The apprentice route is an employment-based route into teaching for graduates with previous work experience. You need to be sponsored.
Applicants whose first language is a language other than English may be required to produce evidence of their English language proficiency.
