In close partnership with parents, we aim to provide a safe, caring environment, where each child's achievements will be valued and rewarded, so that they will happily fulfil our high expectations of them in learning and behaviour.
At Somers Heath Primary School we believe that every child is entitled to a rich and varied curriculum that is challenging and inspiring and will enable every individual to achieve his or her potential in order that he or she can take their place as a valued member of the wider community.
Somers Heath School was built in 1956. Somers Heath County Primary School was formed in April 1984 by the amalgamation of the former Infant and Junior Schools. In Spring 1996 we opened our Nursery, since this we have undertaken major refurbishment throughout the school, including new blocks and expanding in size. Somers Heath is now a two-form entry primary school.
On June 1st 2017 we converted to an academy and joined Catalyst Academies Trust, a local Trust consisting of five local schools, two of which are outstanding. We look forward to continuing with the next phase of our development!
