Criteria for acceptance on the programme:

• GCSE in English, mathematics and science at a minimum of Level 4/ C or equivalent.  (Please ask for advice if you have an equivalent qualification) 
• A levels for Apprentice and Non-Salaried (PGCE) applicants are not essential but would strengthen an application. 
• Degree at 1^st, 2.1 or a 2.2 dependent on experience. Please ensure that your degree is a full honours at a 2.2 or above

We recommend that you gain experience in a classroom prior to interview. 

The apprentice route is an employment-based route into teaching for graduates with previous work experience.  You need to be sponsored.

Applicants whose first language is a language other than English may be required to produce evidence of their English language proficiency.
