PE

Our PE days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Reading

Children are expected to read for 10 minutes at least four times per week with an adult. Children and adults should write comments about their reading in the home/school journal. Children can also shade in a star once they have completed a book. This will support them towards achieving their Bronze, Silver and Gold reading awards.

Homework

One piece of English and one piece of Maths homework are set each Friday on Mirodo. Homework must be returned by the following Friday. Children who do not return their homework by Friday can use the computer suite at lunch time to catch up. 

Spellings

Set each Monday (written in the journal). Spelling test to follow on that Friday. 

Home/school journal

The home/school journal will be checked and signed by the teacher each Friday.
